We’ll Deal With Political Bandits – Gov. Abubakar

Governor Abubakar has warned those using political thugs to unleash terror on innocent people that his administration will condone any form of violence as the nation prepares for governorship and state houses of assembly. 

The governor who stated this when he paid a sympathy visit to some patients injured by political bandits said Bauchi has remained the most peaceful state in the north east, and wondered why politicians desperate for power were trying to tarnish the good name of the state.

“I urged our youth to reject any politician who wants to use them in political violence since such politicians do not use their own children in such heinous acts,” he said.

Governor Abubakar stressed that government has directed security agents to fish out perpetrators of the evil act.

The governor urgef the people to come out and  exercise their franchise on Saturday, assuring of them of their security before, during and after the elections.

He urged the people to remain vigilant and report any suspicious move to security agencies.

A press statement signed by press secretary to the governor, Abubakar Al-Sadique, says the governor donated money to the victims to settle their medical bills.
