Look Forward To Better Bauchi State, Media Consultant Tells Visiting Tourists

A Media Consultant to Governor M.A Abubakar of Bauchi State, Sanusi Muhammad, has urged the people of Bauchi State and Nigerians to be hopeful of a better 2019 as the foundation the M.A Abubakar has laid in the last three years is progressively being crystallized through rapid infrastructural development and economic empowerment.

Muhammad, who led some tourists to the former prime minister’s tomb in Bauchi said, the herald of a New Year, which comes with new vistas, new aspirations and a revitalized hope, offered Bauchi State the chance to look forward to a better state in 2019 with M.A Abubakar on the saddle of power.

According to him: “Seeing out a year gone by and ushering in a new one is always a moving experience. If we take stock of the years gone by, we have every reason to thank God and be happy as our expectations were fulfilled and the efforts of the governor at building a virile, stable and sustainable Bauchi State is crystallizing”.

The consultant added that the governor, having excelled in service delivery, is soliciting for a hand of fellowship from all to actualize the dreams envisioned by his administration, saying that, “the governor remains most grateful to all those who supported his efforts to fruition over the turbulent years, that resulted almost to a near doubt about the state and is urging the people to stretch their hands along with him to force a dawn of greatness on Bauchi State”.

Muhammad called for a renewed belief in the Greater Bauchi Project and maintained that even as the people approach the polls to elect their leaders beginning from February, one thing should be paramount to approach every election with every sense of brotherliness.

“Elections are not wars, we should strive to abolish extreme politics among every political party participating in the elections not to disrupt the peaceful environment already created by the M.A Abubakar administration”, he said.

Leader of the tourists who arrived, Bauchi from Mambila Plateau in Taraba State in continuation of their visit to historical sites in Nigeria, Leo Butler from Sweden, expressed appreciation for the guidance and commended the efforts of Governor M.A Abubakar for serving the people with passion anchored on concern to the wellbeing of the people and unity.
